How do I get started?
I will schedule your first appointment in a phone call and go from there.
Do you take insurance?
I will provide you with receipts to submit to your insurance company and they will reimburse as outlined in your policy.
What is your fee?
My fee is $160 per session, payable at time of service. I do not work directly with insurance companies. Upon request, I can give you a statement for submission for reimbursement by your carrier. Also, not everyone can afford my full fee. If together we determine that you truly cannot afford the fee for the amount of treatment you need, then we will negotiate an amount that allows you to proceed.
What is your cancellation policy?
24 hours notice or session is billable unless rescheduled within same work week. However, if for any reason due to my schedule or yours, if it cannot be rescheduled, then the session is billable.
How often do I have to come?
Weekly for the first 8 to 12 sessions is advised, and occasionally more often. After this initial period, we usually negotiate to a less frequent schedule, but this is open to negotiation.
Do you have evening or weekend hours?
Yes, these hours are negotiable.
Confidentiality Statement: Your statements to me of your personal life are highly confidential and I respect them. They are the heart and soul of our work together. However, you should know that I am required by law to report statements of intent to commit crime, homicide, suicide.
